Installation of CCTV Cameras in the Dental College premises

 

Executive Committee of the Dental Council of India in its meeting held on 13th & 14th October, 2016 at New Delhi considered the matter of installation of CCTV Cameras in the Dental college premises, as DCI wishes to monitor the activities in the Dental Colleges in the Country to maintain the standard of Dental Education in the Country and to ensure effective and transparent communication, adherence to the DCI’s Rules and Regulations and after discussion and deliberation at length decided as under:-

All the Dental Colleges be directed to install CCTV Cameras in the following areas of the Dental Colleges and link up with the internet so as to enable to Dental Council of India for its live access during Colleges working hours from internet portal, Which will be available on the DCI’s website for public access also, and make sure for good internet connectivity.

 
  • OPD Registration Counter
  • Area where Bio-Metric Attendance Machine installed for Dental Faculty
  • Conservative & Endodontic Clinic
  • Any one Lecture Hall

Note : In case if any camera or all of any dental colleges are not working due to some technical issue, complain could be sent to concerned colleges or Dental Council of India.
